This year marks the 10th anniversary of Tanya's passage.
Tanya's most outstanding trait and her enduring legacy is her kindness. The torch burns brightly after a decade of her absence on this earth.
Tanya's friends and family continue to carry her torch of kindness in her memory, for themselves and for the betterment of the world.
They have shown over and over again that kindness knows no boundaries. This post is dedicated to all kind donors honored here. May their acts continue to inspire the world to a kinder and gentler tomorrow.

While recently at an airport, Bruce did the simplest and
most profound of kind acts – he smiled and greeted a man he happened to sit next
to just because the man looked harried and tired. For someone who normally
keeps to himself, this was a tremendously courageous act of kindness.

A Cry for Help Answered
A single mother with a handicapped teenager was struggling
to find and hold on to a job. This kind Samaritan helped her with job search,
interview techniques, mock interviews, job application process and all of the
tribulations that go with job hunting. She has successfully held onto her job
from then on.

My snowbird neighbors always
Endlessly I also donate to various causes hoping my limited donations will ease pain, help someone in some small way.

The quest to be kind knows no physical boundaries
Despite her own severe hip and leg issues and taking care or
an elderly relatice, Judy makes time to frequently call friends who are having
trouble. Just to be a shoulder, a counselor and an advisor. She also visits one
elderly friend regularly to help out as best she can. On a 7 days a week basis
she helps 3 immigrant family children with their homework and school related
studies.

This couple takes the time to smile and say hello to every
neighbor during their walk. What a great way to brighten someone’s day. As
teachers they demonstrate kindness in the classroom many ways. Here are some
examples:
- Celebrating a student’s success with high fives
-
Drawing out a quieter student by asking them for
an in-depth explanation of their favorite activity like a video game
-
Taking on extra work for sick colleagues

A Good Samaritan
This kind anonymous person takes pleasure in true random
acts of kindness. Recently he paid for the coffee of the next person in queue
while purchasing his own. What a way to spread goodness! We bet that next
person was so touched he did something kind that day or the next for someone
else and the virtuous relay began!
